This is a completely free service and is offered in association with Simpson Millar LLP. It is available between 7.00am and 11.00pm Monday to Friday.

It is not restricted to industry related matters and is also available for use by your employees and immediate family, subject to initial verification of your membership number.

Central Purchasing/Invoicing

In addition, the usual £50 registration/set-up fee is waived for members and, once registered for central purchasing, members are also entitled to AA individual membership for only £45.

Lobbying the Government

The specific protection of the interests of our members and, in a broader sense, the protection of the interests of the forecourt sector at large with regard to proposed legislation, is a major role. Over the years we have established excellent relationships and contacts with Government Departments and other trade bodies where we can exert influence over any subject matter likely to affect the sector.

Member Publications

A monthly Newsletter is distributed to all members and is able to make reference to and respond to recent issues and developments and members’ views are regularly canvassed. Members are invited to contribute and copy is required at least one week prior to the end of each month.

The Garage Watch Magazine continues with the same title and format and is published every two months by Garage Watch Value Ltd., in association with the Forecourt Division. It is distributed to all independent forecourts (some 6,400), contains current industry news and is focused on category features to improve shop layout and sales.

Pump Nozzle Advertising Scheme

Create more income from your pumps and join our pump nozzle advertising scheme along with many other members’ - next year’s membership subscription is free when you take advantage of this offer.

A minimum of 6 nozzles is all that is required but you cannot currently be part of another suppliers’ scheme.

Forecourt Staff Training Programme

We have our own training programme designed specifically for forecourt staff and has been accredited by the Institute of Safety and Health. This is extremely cost-effective in its own right and members also receive a discount of around 20%.

Managers/owners are able to train their own staff on site at a time to suit themselves which means that costly replacement staff is not required.

Burglary Prevention System

A truly effective system known as the “Fog Bandit” which, as its name implies and when activated, releases an impenetrable fogging security blanket into the premises which makes it impossible for a burglar to go about his business and, importantly, has no effect whatsoever on stock.

Members receive a discount of £100 from the installation charge.

Drive-Off Losses – Recovery Scheme
